A Tale of Two Bridges is now Heights Trail Partnership: the same organization, with a new name.
Where the name came from
In 2022, the Memorial Heights Redevelopment Authority first reviewed our proposal for connecting Houston Heights with the green spaces and trails around it. They responded with a practical suggestion:
“Why don’t you start with two bridges?”

And so, A Tale of Two Bridges was born.
The two bridges
The two bridges are the Rutland and Patterson pedestrian and bike bridges. Each has its own page:
